Company
What it is
The website of a small software studio: what it builds, the projects it has delivered and a guided quote form. The name "Company" is a placeholder until the real one is chosen. A visitor lands on an animated fractal tree, browses a carousel of six demo sites (hovering a card opens a panel with real screenshots, the description and the features) and can ask for a quote.
The quote form is a multi-step brief: create or update a site, what it is for, its sections and extras, a logo upload and contact details. It is sent by mail, and email and WhatsApp buttons are there for a quicker contact. Every page is in Spanish and English.
How it's built
The site started in 2025 as konnecta-web, written mostly by Lucas Stancich, with my changes to the fractal tree, the texts and the loading speed. In 2026 I rebranded it, reworked it and now host it. It is one HTML file plus three PHP scripts, with no framework and no build step.
- The fractal tree is drawn on a canvas sized for the screen's pixel ratio. Earlier versions used images and a GIF; I replaced them with the canvas to fix size and position mismatches between desktop and mobile.
- Themes as CSS variables: a theme is a set of colour variables. Besides the original dark theme, a light "Playa" theme is complete behind an admin flag that also shows a style picker.
- The carousel moves with the mouse wheel until its end, and the gesture that reaches an end does not run on into the page.
- A PHP mailer validates the brief, keeps the attachments, mails the studio and sends the client a copy with download links.
