What it is
This was my first portfolio page, from June 2017, in Spanish. It lists my education (school, English, web design, PHP, Java and Android, Swift, C++), the languages I used with a level for each, a few projects such as the Helbreath Empire website and Java and PHP chats, a few lines about me and a contact form.
The page had two variations, with and without the projects section. A floating "Versiones" window at the bottom right now switches between them.
How it's built
It is a PHP page on the Freelancer Bootstrap theme, with no database.
- Bootstrap 3 and jQuery, with the theme's LESS compiled by gulp into one stylesheet.
- Each panel is built by a few small PHP helper functions (
Start,_End), so a new entry in education or projects is only a few lines. - The contact form is validated with jqBootstrapValidation and sent with PHP's
mail(). - When I published it again in 2026, two things were fixed: the short variation's Projects link pointed at a section that page does not have (it now opens the other variation), and the form now sends from an address the server can actually send for.
Why I made it
It was my first portfolio: one place to show what I had studied, the languages I knew and the projects I had built, and a way to reach me.
